Hello
Below is a picture I completed last week of the face-on (dim) Seyfert Type I galaxy NGC4395 in Canes Venatici. This is a nearby galaxy - "only" 14Mly away - which has a very active nucleus. My picture does not do justice to all the active regions in the arms and to the centre of the galaxy so I provided a link to much better versions at my Astrobin page below.
20hrs in total split as 10.5hrs in L and 9.5hrs in OSC using my tandem setup.
Thanks
Roberto

That's a really lovely image Roberto. No need to post a link to others - yours is good enough :)

Can`t help thinking the one in France looks a little overprocesssed , yours is a lot more honest and well captured.
Good one Roberto,
Roger
Thank you Robert and Roger! Maybe adding some Ha could enhance the knots in the arms of the galaxy. What is amazing is that the shot from France - albeit with a 16" telescope- is only LRGB and 8hrs versus 20hrs for mine!
Roberto
Great image Roberto. Star colours are great with NGC4365 clearly resolved. Nice detail in the galaxy and colours look really natural.
Clear Skies,
GW
