Title: Help Required
Post by: Rocket Pooch on Apr 08, 2005, 23:21:00
Hi,

I've got the raw parts (4' 8" steel tube and 3x10" square plates) to build my pillar for my LX90 but I need some tools, do any of you guys have access to: -

An Arc or Mig welder;

A 1/2" or 3/4" drill capable of going through 1" mild steel;

If so can I use them or borrow them?

Also if you could help beer will be available during and after the building.

Chris

The beer sounds great, but I'm sorry, I am just  about to move so things are a little hectic at the moment.

I might be able to help with the drill, have a HSS drill, but will need to check bit sizes. Once my back is better I will be happy to give you a hand.

Ta Paul,

Most of the digging will be done soon and my next door buddy has a cement mixer for the foundations for the pillar :smile:  So no rush :smile:
