Title: Observing Evening
Post by: Roy on Sep 18, 2018, 22:52:20
A great evening with a real buzz, at least 20 people turned up and 6 scopes out on the grass. We had views on Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, M13, M31, M34, and not forgetting the moon. Well done Doug and Rose.

Thanks Roy.... and Sue for the teas etc. A really good night, although the clouds made an appearance later on, but that didn`t spoil the enjoyment and observing.

Thanks to all who came along and nice to see new people there.

Doug.

Glad you had a good evening. You've made a real success of the observing evenings Doug.

I don't come because I don't really do much observing these days.  But for those that do, it's great.

It was a great evening and additional to what Roy listed, there were also M29, M57, M103 and Double Cluster (which with the M34 was "the first time" for me).
