Title: M106 Galaxy from Kelling Heath
Post by: Carole on Apr 21, 2015, 14:08:00
Taken over 2 nights.  The filterwheel and camera must have got moved when I put the scope cover on and off, so had to crop the rotated bits off once I had merged the data.

Atik314L + FR x 0.8
Skywatcher ED120
Lum 8 x 600
RGB 1 x 300secs each binned x 2

Only managed 1 sub each of the RGB
Was imaging at the Zenith

That is stunning again. And is that NGC4248 you've caught on the right (mag 12.60)?.

That galaxy has come out really well!

It looks slightly green on my monitor though.

Thanks Guys,
QuoteIt looks slightly green on my monitor though.

Yes, I agree.  Now I am home I'll probably re-do at least two of the images.

OK, this is the "de-greened" and de-noised version.
