Do not know if aurora will come this far south but storm in progress and Spaceweather showing Kp8.

Thin high cloud here obscured the northern view, and the lights from London didn't help. However, reports from Scotland indicate they had quite a display up there...

There were also sightings and photos across England, Ireland and Wales.

There were sightings of aurora south of me, but I had to work last night.  By the time I was done at 1:30am local time, the display was over.

A fellow north of London, Ontario (and 60 miles south of me) captured this time-lapse:

On one of the radio-related forums I follow one poster who lives somewhere Devo/Cornwall way reported seeing aurora last nighht, and posted a photo...
