Title: Gadget for undoing those pesky spacers
Post by: Carole on Feb 09, 2015, 12:17:37
Do you ever get spacers etc stuck, I do even when I have oiled the threads first.

After having a real job unscrewing a spacer the other day I found this on Amazon.  I have it now and it certainly grip those 2" spacers and the grip is sort of rubberised.  I guess having two of them would be even better.

Robert - you obviously missed Fay's threads - she is always moaning about getting adapters/ nose pieces etc. stuck... John

I've used plumbers spanners in the past and a metal kitchen jar opener but it is difficult to do it without really scratching or damaging the metal work.
