Title: Sh2-124 in Cygnus
Post by: Carole on Dec 10, 2022, 18:37:09
This has been a really difficult target to process.
Taken over 2 nights, on my dual rig.
Unfortunately I had to discard over 3 hours worth of Oiii taken with my ED72 it was slightly out of focus and did not yield anything decent.  So ended up with just 25 minutes Oiii on the ED80

Atik460EX and Skywatcher ED80 and Skywatcher ED72
Ha 38 x 600 6h 20m
Oiii 5 x 300 binned (25m)
Sii 20 x 300 binned (1 hour 40 mins
Total imaging time 8 hours 25mins

Very nicely framed Carole!  I love your colour palette.

Thanks Roberto, that's reassuring to hear.  I was trying for more if an orangey golden colour but could nit achieve it without spoiling the main feature.
