Anyone like to use a Canon lens on an ATIK CCD, or SE CCD.

Hi Fay,

I lookes at these before I got the QSI, I wwas thnking of putting a fast SLR Lens onto my ATIK and this is a great adaptor because it takes the weight of the lens and is only 19mm thick.  If you had a nice 135mm F2ish lens on this and the atik it would be a very fast setup, you would just need a little spacer.

Yes, but the problem with these is that the CCD camera manufacturers don't give you back enough distance to fit a filter wheel as well - makes it a real pain to swap filters...

For me Camera + filter wheel + adaptor plus Canon EF lens needed to reach focus.  Whatever lens you want to use has to have enough back focus distance to focus at infinity, that's why the Pentax 6x7s are popular...
