Title: Where to put FAQs and other useful info...
Post by: Rick on Aug 20, 2005, 22:03:52
Quote from: "Mike"p.s. What is wrong with the dates on this thread?
It's stickified so that it stays at the top of the list, which saves having to dig the details out...

Rather than a sticky note , how about creating a F.A.Q. read only section and putting notes like this and other usefull threds in there?

can do, but for a single useful thread, I wonder if this might be the best place for it. What other FAQ's have you got in mind?

I'd rather have "sticky" (or "announcement") posts in the particular sections where they're applicable, because that way they might get noticed. If they were in a separate place then they'd very often be ignored (or simply not found).
