As we have now moved provider and problems have now been overcome, would now be a good time to delete the old posts in here ?
The important posts are pinned anyway.
Just a thought as Rick and Ian have nothing else to do
that's number 8 on the top ten ways of getting yourself banned from internet fora Mick...
In fact, people have been kneecapped for less :)
:P
Please do NOT delete old posts. There are lots of useful posts that are years old I refer to.
Unless it is affecting performance (which I now doubt) then they should stay.
there probably will come a time when we need to archive the proceedings of the forum, but I would hope it's a reasonable way off and we will be able to maintain a read only version available for exactly that reason. We've got some seriously useful stuff on this forum now.
I agree, although I do try to copy stuff I think might be useful in the future and save it to my PC normally because I never know whether I will find them again.
But there could always be the odd thing you don't know you will need until the time comes.

No - I wasn't suggesting the whole forum, just the Updates/Upsets section
I just thought most of this would be irelevant now
Note to self - STOP thinking
Mick, I thought I was the only one that dug themself into a deep hole!! :D

Fay, lend me your shovel............
If I can only get deep enough, nobody will see me
No room for two of us in here, Mick  !
it's alright Fay, you just need a bigger hole.
You and Mick should get that sorted in no time ;)

Just out of curiosity, exactly how big it the forum?
Well on my Macbook its about 28cm wide and 18cm high.
:D
it was about a quarter of that a while ago for John until he sorted out his zoom problem.
Compressed, the forum,s database is about 4 meg. I can count the rows if you're really interested...
I am
got anything better to do otherwise? ;)
not really...
