This was from Blacklands, I will add to it, but will not get the detail. I wanted to get 3hrs worth, but dew hampered progress. There is a aircraft trail which is still there, I think there are not enough subs for it to be sorted out

That's a real beauty Fay.
Glad you got something after all your problems.

Very nice.  That 7nm filter has certainly cut through last night's milkiness - it's given a very nice result.

Well done!

JohnP

looks excellent Fay for such short exposure... well done,  John

Fay

Thanks, it would have been quite detailed if subs had run, their course

Yes shame you had so many probs. I actually have my camera pointed at the exact same area of sky at this moment - my FOV is only about 1/3 what you got though.. :-( Did you do anything special in processing to keep the main star so small - I thought it would have been well bloated with 1200 sec subs...

Fay

only did a rough process John, as knew i will either add to it or delete

Hi Fay,

That's got good resolution and plenty of detail but it's a real shame those other subs weren't usable as another 4x20 mins would have given you so much more to play with.  20 min subs are a bit like putting all your eggs in one basket but that's pat of the tradeoff.

Have you plans to add more subs ?

Robert

Fay

I am outside tonight doing 900sec subs of veil

Not bad now the pain of putting it together for hours.

I thought you did not like false colour images, I remember you giving me a hard time last year :-)

Yes it was me.  However I am slowly coming round to it if it's done subtly.
