Iv'e just been reading about the new Meade lx800 series with starlock scope for guiding and locating. Does anyone know whether this system will be available as a separate item and whether it will be compatible with other Meade scopes?

I know a few people who've bought one of these and had nothing but endless trouble with it. Might be worth seeking out someone who has bought one and get their thoughts on it.
