I had to reset my Google, for some reason. when i look at a webpage and then close it, it used to go back to Google homepage, but now it goes back to my desktop, so have to open Google all over again. Also New Tab is coming up instead of the normal Google startpage

Has anyone any clues how I can get it back to how it was?

Thanks

If you are using Google Chrome

Click on the 3 little lines at top right corner
Click on Settings
Under "On Startup" you should have selected - "Open a specific page or set of pages.  Set pages"
Click on the Set pages
This should list the tabs you want opened when you start Chrome - Click OK
If it's wrong you can make all the changes here before clicking OK
Or
Start up Chrome and open all the tabs that you want then go through the above process and on the Set pages section select "Use current pages"
