Mac

Power everything down
Check EVERY cable thats plugged in
Power everything up and reboot.

Error 43 is a non specific error saying that something plugged into it is not working.

If after you reboot, and still get the errors, have a look at updating drivers,

Failing that try looking for a 2lb lump hammer.

Mac.

ha ha ha I 'm already on the hammer case!!!!!!

Get Slimdrivers for updating your PC. I use it and it works very well: http://www.driverupdate.net/downloads/SlimDrivers-setup.exe

does it make any difference that it seems to be the item as happening on both laptops?

Fay,

Try the following:

1) Disconnect the MHP from LT
2) Power off both LT and MHP
3) Boot laptop
4) Power on MHP
5) Plug MHP USB into LT.

Fixes it for me.

Cheers

Hi Robert, that is what David has suggested. do your dew strip lights flash?

Fay

do they flash on & off all the time?

When the dew heater is off the led's are off, if the heater is full on the the led is on, if the heater control is set mid value then the led will flash (the on time being dependent on the level).
