The Thing

It was very windy and I only got 15 usable 300s subs. Processed in IRIS and Irfanview. Nothing fancy. Details here on the Gallery.

yep looks good & background nebulosity is showing nicely... John

It's a shame about the imaging conditions - very windy and the sky transparency was none too good either.

You've done well in the circumstances.  The nebulosity is certainly beginning to appear but it would need more subs to do it justice.

Good capture if it was so windy.  It also looks like there might be more Ha data there if you could in some way suppress Sadr a bit.

Thanks Robert et al. There is more Ha, on my laptop it looks quite impressive, but on my calibrated monitor less so! (must calibrate laptop:)) The wind has stretched the stars into rugby balls and made the guiding graph quite lumpy, I was surprised to get anything process-able.
