The Thing

SPC880 flashed to SPC900 with Revelation IR filter. Baader Neodymnium 2" filter in Moonfish 2" ED Barlow on LX90 8" SCT. Captured using Sharpcap.

What a difference a bit of altitude makes! This was taken at just under 60deg altitude after setting the alarm. It's a shame Sharpcap doesn't have a "delay until capture start" option. Stacked in Registax, no other processing.

Wow - a really nice Jupiter!  So much better than the earlier attempt.

It's a very natural looking image with good detail.

Very good shot Duncan, I wish I could get something close to that; I'll have to go through the settings in Sharpcam again.
