That's a great set of images Julian.  Another success for that Frankenstein camera of yours!  The acquisition and processing are both looking good.

The nebulosity in the Veil looks great and I particularly like the Veil mixed with your earlier narrowband image.   Narrowband always seems to work better than full colour for the Veil because it stops the stars becoming too bright and dominant relative to the nebulosity.

The Pacman and the Heart have also come out well - I think the Heart is my favourite of the three.

Well done.

Gosh JUlian, what a good set of images!! you must be really pleased they are great!
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

You can really see the difference the cooled mod has made to the noise.

A very nice set of images Julian, in particular I like the Eastern veil just done with the Canon, the coloured filaments are so lovely and smooth and show even clearer on the larger version.

The Thing

I can't see the whole width of the images on my desktop and they scroll terribly on my phone. Very nice though.

Mac

cant we have them a bit bigger as they appear tiny on my WHUXGA monitor. :cheesy:

Mac.

All I can see are dots on my IMAX monitor.

Behave yourself Mac  :P

Okay, I did get the image sizes wrong. I did check the preview on my monitor before posting them and they looked ok.
I have now adjusted the size of the pictures and tested them on three pc monitors and my phone and they now look ok - well the size anyway.
Thanks for all the positive comments.
