Blimey 30min exposures - are you showing off or what...?

Looks good - Is it possible to see a single raw - your blacks look very black... I would like to see what else is lurking....

Excellent though & well done on first light - John.

Jim

Thanks John

I wanted to test the guiding and it was very bright so tried out 30 mins. Not entirely successful as the stars were slightly oval and had to be adjusted in PS. I'll PM you the RAW as Flickr has an upload limit, be interested to see what you make of it
Cheers

Well it works, the only way you will improve thats is with an OAG.

That looks really good Jim.  It needs more exposures to bring out some detail but the new mount seems to be doing the business.  Now what I want to see is 20 x 1800s Ha on something; that really would be impressive !

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

Very nice image Jim.
