Tonight's total ecplise of the moon will itself be totally eclipsed by cloud.  This presents a rare viewing opportunity to see the cloud eclipsing the eclipse.  Watch carefully to see them obscure the moon rising in state of total "double eclipse".  A powerful pair of binoculars is all you need to see the wonderful detail in those horizon hugging clouds.   :cheesy:

It's certainly looking like we have a 0% chance of seeing anything (as usual).

Been looking at various places in Kent and Essex for viewing it.  Every-where seems to have cloud, but Isle of Sheppey and Isle of Grain look to have the least as well as some of the Essex coast.

Bummer.

There is a chance here on top of the downs at about 10pm to see it, looks like the clouds will be broke, I'll have a look out the window later.

It's clear at home at the moment :)
But it won't last for much longer :(

I got a glimpse through thin cloud at about 10:00pm. The view on the BBC was better.

Saw the Moon through the pesky clouds AFTER the eclipse was over  :!
