Your slashing backwards Paul!

What does" you are slashing backwards " mean?

Paul, good to see you have got something, M63 very nice. Not enough clear sky here to get me up the garden in 6' of mud!!!

I did suffer a little to get these, having just come out of the house and not dark adapted, I wandered down the garden path to the observatory. I thought that I had walked far enough turned and strode what I thought was towards the observatory, only to fall into the rockery, taking a couple of rocks out of the wall, landing in a rock with my elbow and taking my face through a miniature conifer. After a little sympathy (more chuckles really) from Jeanette, I wondered off again this time with my head lamp on.

Well done Paul, sounds like the southern areas had more clear skies than we did last night, ours was teasing us, clear one minute and clouded over the next.

M63 is really beautiful.

Sorry to hear of your mishap walking to the observatory, just shows how dark it is in your garden.

And about bloody time too  ;)

I've been away a long time, any tips on processing will be most welcome.

Good images Paul.  That M63 is certainly impressive and very nicely processed.  A few more subs of NGC2903 would make it just as good.

Is this the first proper use of the observatory?  Methinks you won't venture out without a head lamp again!

Great work Paul, with lots of detail showing in M63.

Just one question - How did you manage to get so much clear sky  :-?

Fay

Paul, sorry I did giiggle imagining you going in the wrong direction down the garden!!!!!

And I didn't have to bruise anything to get the additional 2 hours 20 either :-)
