I snapped this between the clouds last night while I was doing a few test shots.

A single shot Hyperstar C11 with Canon 450D 1/2500th second @ISO 1600 taken on 12/2/2010

nice capture,

but why set the iso so high?
especially as it was 1/2500s

lower iso less noise,
just a thought.

Thanks Mac, I was using liveview to check collimation hence the 1600 ISO.  I might give it another try tonight with a lower ISO, even so I would have thought the noise would have calibrated out (which it didn't).

Weather looks a bit dodgy to me.  Rainfall radar currently shows patches of rain floating around ...
