Weather forecast shows wind and rain/showers tuesday and wednesday with extra rain and wind on friday and saturday  :-?
With westerly winds at 20+ MPH imaging will be a chore - good thing is it will be above freezing.

So, what to do.
Contact Rother Valley to say we might be down or
Just turn up at Blacklands if the weather changes for the better ?

Thoughts anyone ?

Mick,

If Blacklands is being considered, has anyone checked to see if it is open, as I thought that it was closed in February last year????????????

I think Blacklands is the better choice, given the likely soil conditions.  Though I prefer Rother Valley's darker skies!

Typical Astrofest weather!

20:30 at Blacklands if the wind forecast ameliorates, don't mind a little rain. I'm sure rother valley will be too slippery.

Stop using words I have to look up

If the forecast tomorrow morning is still crap, I will staying home.

Blacklands would be the less squidgy choice but with the wind coming from the SW Rother Valley would give better shelter

My question was rather tongue in cheek.  I don't have any intention of going - the forecast looks horrible.
