Hi,

Anyone know where I can get a small 12v Stepper Motor 4-phase, unipolar, 1.8 Degree, medium torque, for my focuser.  It does not need to be a large one!

i've got an old flatbed scanner if thats any use, dont know how much torque it will have but its free.

its probably only 5v as its usb.

Hi,

I really need a 12v one to make the thing as simple as possible, but thanks for the offer.

I might have one. I'll have a look through my stuff and get back to you.

bear in mind that the motor voltage rating is for continuous use. You'll probably find a 5v motor will work just fine for a focuser at 12v.

I'm sure Mel Bartels had something to say about that on his project pages.

Got three from a company called Rapid.
