Stuck? That's a shame, Mick. Guess everyone will have to pitch in and drink all the beer you brought, just to help out you understand. Can't have you not being able to get home.

But is she going to stand still long enough for you to tie her to a tree?

As Mick says, the conditions were extremely dewy on both Friday and Saturday nights.  Weather during the day was generally good with plenty of sunshine.  Sunday was especially warm and sunny.

Owing to the dew, my Celestron C11 SCT ended up with water running inside it and with condensation on the main mirror!  Now at home, I've dangled a package of silica gel inside the tube and this seems to have cleared it all.  Phew!

Friday night I concentrated on Jupiter with the C11 (I haven't reviewed the data yet) and Saturday night I got nothing worthwhile with the Banana scope.  According to Julian the conditions improved after 2am when I went to bed.

Last night it was still dewy but no real mist and the skies were stunning.

I still had to get towed out though
Some tyres with tread may help  :-?
