Problems with com ports

Glad it was finally a clear night for observing evening.

I went out back but was hampered with Com Port not available for the Canon.   It had occupied Com Port 7, but it was also  shared with Toshiba bluetooth, can they be shared? The program was still saying CP 7 was not available.

I tried to change it in Device Manager, where it said CP 7 was vacant, but as you see, it was not.  Anyway got it to accept it in the end but was too late to get going. 
It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!
