Hi ! Question for MarkS - Focal Reducer Problem

Thank you for the graph!

The numbers show a better result, correct?
What exactly are these waves???   How do you interpret the graph?

From what I remember, the black areas are the ones that show perfect collimation, but they are
outside and around the center.

The pink areas around the edge are bad and the central bulge is caused by the cluster you've imaged (that why it's better to have a random star field).  What you're after is it all an even colour (I think that'll be a darker shade of blue).
