Hi,

I took 16x10 minute darks at -25c and 64 BIAS frames at -25c to add to my 5 good 10 minute Ha subs taken at deep swamp camp, the results have come out ok, but I wondered what you prefered?

No 1, less histogram work http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2781/4422962033_ef1b8bc697_o.jpg

No 2, more histogram work http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2606/4422959993_0c590d0807_o.jpg

Let me know which one you think is best

Chris

P.S. The images are full sized.

I prefere the less histogram Chris

I agree, less is a sharper image.

More can be less sometimes and I think that's the case here...

Both pretty excellent - looks like your darks haven't subtracted properly as I can see darks marks in both images (presumbly where hot pixels were).... The image scale is unbelievable especially on full size - Think I would have to do something like a 8 or 10 frame mosaic with my 16ic to get close to that...

nice one, John

#1 wins by a long way.  It's an excellent image and a great scale. Nice one!
