Both taken on the same night.(01/03/2004)

300mm f4 Starlight MX916.
Moon 100 x 1/100sec images averaged using registax


M51 300mm + 2X converter f8 MX916, 8x240sec 32 minuite integrated exposure

Excellent M51, looks a bit different then when we have a look at it with the old eyeball.
