Hi,

Froze me bits off last night and took the following image of saturn, this is a draft image because I only selected 140 frames, when I get a change to do it properly it should look quite good.

Meade ETX125 with Meade 2x barlow.

Looks great - Cassini all the way round. A really good image for a 5-inch scope with a >half moon not that far away...! I look forward to seeing the final. Have you rescaled image at all?

Cheers,  John

Rocket Pooch

No this is exactly the size on the CCD, just as well I didn;t borrow the 3x Barlow

Ian

looking good Chris.

I look forward to seeing the finished result. How many frames did you capture in total?

Rocket Pooch

I have a total of 1,500 frames in 3 AVI's I'm going to merge them, get the best frames then process them.  They we're all taken consecutively (after re-aligning the mount) using the same settings.

Chris are you using any filters , IR Block etc?
