Misaligned or not, that's frik'n gorgeous, really love the fact you've captured the whispy outer limbs too

Mike

Very nice. What are the imaging details???

Lovely.  Very nice indeed.  Even with misaligned colour (which it took me a long time to spot anyway).

Excellent image Chris, you've even exposed some of the outer halo and the central dust clouds.  There's so much data to process ... I want to go !

Hi,

This was astronomy adultery I used Olly's Televue F5 500mm scope with an Atik HR16, the images we're 10x10 minute luminance, and RGB 4x5 minute each all unbinned.

I wanted to use the fast scope to get the signal to noise on the luminance, cool eh, I will fix the edges in Photoshop when I get home.

Chris

RobertM

You mean you cheated and used someone elses kit ;)

Rocket Pooch

Well technically I hired it!!!

So its mine!!!

And I will process it properly when I get home as well, so ner!

Very sweet - I think you can conclusively say you nailed this... :-) John
