Ian, if you have web links for those two programs you demonstrated, please let me know what they are so that I can add the links to the meetings report page.

Registax at http://aberrator.astronomy.net/registax/

K3 CCD tools at http://www.pk3.org/Astro/

QCUIAG (QuickCam and Unconventional Imaging Astronomy Group)Forum at http://www.qcuiag.co.uk/

Rick

Thanks. I'll add those. The Registax one is fairly readable, but the K3 CCD one gives my old Net$crape browser (that I have to use here at work, 'cos it's the standard, don't you know) no end of grief, mostly 'cos it's written in FrontPage to be "best viewed with I.E.". It even needs JavaScript enabled just to tell you....

(Insert usual rant about proprietary rubbish like Flash and FrontPage, favorite quote from the pen of Tim Burners-Lee, and obligatory link to http://www.anybrowser.org/campaign/)

Ian

don't worry, with the death of Nutscrape you'll be getting a new browser soon  You might get IE

Rick

No chance! We're still supposed to use NS4 at work, and there are some corporate sites that won't work with anything else. :/

At home I'm linux-only, and I think the chances of a version of IE being released for linux are....
