G'day folks,

I have had a very good night here in the observatory with a dark sky, a new light pollution filter and a cool 5 degrees celcius in the dome.

Heres 44 minutes at ISO 800 on the Lagoon. Imaged with a Celestron Nexstar 11, focal reducer to F6.3. Guided manually with a ToUCam on a piggybacked ED80.

Cheers, Baz.

Wow, that's just fantastic, and manually guided too, how many subs was the 44 mins made up of?

A.S.I.G.N_Baz

Thanks Daniel. they were 3 and 5 minute subs to a total of 44 minutes.

Cheers,

Baz.

Fay

Baz, really nice. Can't believe you can get  such a good image in such a short time & 3-5 min subs.

Do you live in a good dark sky?
