Rick, an afterthought, how do you crop?

It is healthier to be mutton dressed as lamb, than mutton dressed as mutton!

When you've selected the "Crop and Rotate" you are presented with the full-size image in a new window.

Check the "Enable clipping, apply to crop" tick box. A couple of corner markers will appear in top left and bottom right corners.

Click-and-drag the corner markers to frame the image the way you want it.

Then select an appropriate JPEG Output Quality, and click "Save picture".

"Save as thumbnail" doesn't do the brightest of jobs, so I advide not using it...

(... and I figure it's better to have done the cropping and framing and conversion to JPEG and so on on your own computer where you most likely have better tools for the job.)
