Fay - Image of the Moon

Hi All,

Fay took a few images of the moon & Saturn the other day & very impressive they are for a first attempt. Fay imaged using her Nikon Coolpix digital camera through an eyepiece. Some of the images have been posted on the Gallery Archive but the one below was > 1.8Mb (when she emailed it to me) so I said I would post it for her on my webpage. I converted the image from 16-bit Tiff to 8-bit Jpeg & adjusted with Curves - that was all. I'll leave fay to give you the details etc. Image is very good & nice & sharp - not sure what the 'red hint' is....? Great Image Fay & let's have some more.....

Looks great to me, the red hint mights be the quality of the eyepiece?
