Hello All

Some of these completed (remotely) whilst away on holidays in August, some more recent.

NGC 7129, NGC 7142 and some SNR G107.0+9.0 - LHaRGB

Details here: https://www.astrobin.com/qyktqt/I/

I had done this area in 2020 but the addition of Ha and the wider FoV of the camera help.  Taken with the usual tandem refractor setup.

Dates:  5 Aug 2024, 9 - 13 Aug 2024, 16 Aug 2024
Frames: OSC -136×300″(11h 20′)
Astrodon H-alpha 5nm 50x50 mm: 17×1200″(5h 40′)

NGC6882, NGC6885, Caldwell 37 in Vulpecula - LRGB

A nice cluster within a cluster in Vulpecula.  Details here: https://www.astrobin.com/61t3mo/D/

Dates: 30 - 31 Jul 2024, 2 Aug 2024, 4 - 5 Aug 2024

IDAS LPS-P2 50 mm: 78×300″(6h 30′)
Integration: 12h 27′ 30″

Tokyo 994 - including Barnard 8, 11, 12, 13 - LRGB

This I finished over the weekend but it's too dark.  I may need to reprocess.  It's a string of dark nebulae (several LDN and Barnard objects), collectively called Tokyo 994.  Details here: https://www.astrobin.com/9mv9yf/D/

Dates: 17 Aug 2024, 11 - 14 Sep 2024
Frames: OSC - 142×300″(11h 50′)
IDAS LPS-P2 50 mm: 72×600″(12h)
Integration: 23h 50′

Saturn - 22:34 UT - 14 September 2024

And a quickie of Saturn on Saturday night.   Still very low for imaging from the UK but looks nice visually.  Can't wait for next year.  This one taken with the 10" f/20 Maksutov.

Carole

Fantastic results Roberto.  Love Saturn and in particular the first one.  I have done NGC 7129 at DSC and even at Bortle 4 but never got a good result.  Just shows what long integration does.
Not heard of the otehr two before.

Roberto

Thank you Carole.  I have taken new flats for my L filter and re-processed the L image and LRGB.  Both attached below.

Reworked L

Reworked LRGB

Carole

I like the re-worked L but not so much the re-worked LRGB, looks a ittle blotchy.

Roberto

Indeed Carole.  The RGB image alone is better than the LRGB one.  I will leave it at that for now.
Thanks

Roberto
