The Thing

I've done this before in the dim and distant and it didn't look like this gem.

93x120s(3h 6m), Gain 1601 (Unity), Offset 30, Temp 0c (of sensor)

Image date, time and location: 2023-08-22, Manche, France
Telescope aperture and focal ratio: TS1506UNC f4 Newtonian
Camera and filters used: QHY294PROC OSC, Optolong UV/IR
Processing applied: Pixinsight with Blur Exterminator

WoW! That jumps out at you :D Nice in full size!

Not sure about the processing on this one Duncan.  There looks to be too sudden a contrast between the nebulosity and dark areas plus there seems to be a gradient. 

Looks like some good data.  Would be interested to see a new process.
