Here's a short timelapse I made of part of the comet tail on the evening of 20 July:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ki83-HoQ1cxVc0rlK4EUtom9RqCc012S/view

The quality is best when downloaded before viewing.

Shot with a modified Nikon Z6 on a Tak Epsilon 180ED.  135 frames of 30sec each covering a total period of 90 minutes.

Conditions were not perfect (they never are!) with some cloud was passing across but it's still possible to see some subtle changes in the ion tail if you look hard enough.

Excellent work Mark, I think you also did the same with Comet Jacques.

That's right, I always love to do a timelapse.  I had to move my equipment from the observatory into the garden to get a view of the comet.  I tried this timelapse on three different nights but the other two attempts were wrecked by passing cloud :-(

Yes excellent indeed, can even see the ion tail subtly changing.
