Following my Crescent nebula and surrounding nebulae and an earlier Sadr region image, i decided to put them together.  I knew there would be a slight miss match as they are not quite in the same position, but it came out better than I thought.  So looks like I will have to find some time to fill in the gaps.

This is not published yet on Astrobin (it's in my staging gallery) as I wanted the Crescent Nebula image to settle down first.

Atik 460EX, Samyang 135mm
Crescent panel: F2 lens @ F2.8  5 hours 22.5 mins
Sadr panel: Just under 7 hours
Stitched with ICE (Image Composite Editor)

Grand total of 12 hours 17.5 minutes

That's a massive field; how many square degrees?  Looks great.  8)

Thanks Roberto, I have no idea of the size as I never work in statistics.

That's fantastic!  A really good looking mosaic.  Cygnus looks so different in narrowband!

Thanks Mark, I have gathered some data towards one of the corners, but need a bit more.  Then I shall start working on the opposite corner.
