LBN 438 in Lacerta from Petts Wood

Another one taken in September either side of the full Moon.

Pretty tough object from London. Beautiful area in Lacerta. The background is pretty red but this is natural as the nebula gets its illumination from interstellar radiation known as Extended Red Emission (ERE).

Sorry, been away at Kelling, only just seen this.

You do like your dark nebula which are a real challenge from your location, and this one has turned out as great as those before it.
