The Thing

Very nice Roberto. What gear did you use to capture the Sun? I've always wanted to capture a prominence but been too stingy to get a solar scope.

Duncan, I have a double-stacked SM60 Coronado unit. It was mounted - via an adaptor - on a 94mm f/7 refractor.
Below is a shot of another prominence when the Sun was much more active:

Very nice Roberto.  That imaging combo makes the stars look nice and small (I think the we'll depth helps too).
