Very pleased with this one.
I arrived on Thurs with the intention of getting this as a target but only ended up with 4 subs as i had to sort out a meridian flip and by the time i had , M16 had gone behind some trees!

Stacked in DSS, no processing at end.
Processed in Photoshop CS2
4 x Subs @ 300 Seconds
5 Darks
5 Flats
5 Bias
20.89 on SQM-L @ 1am

That's a great result Roger!

It's not an easy target because it is low in the sky. Did you spot the "Pillars of Creation" in the middle there?
It's a shame you weren't able to obtain more subs.

You're making good progress on the astro-imaging front.
