This is my first try with just my DSLR on tripod with a zoom lens and stacked with 39 pictures of 30 seconds each.

Well done Roger, every step is a step forward.  Next step is to get focus and take a shot through the telescope.

Yes, well done Roger. I think I recognise the style of those shots from my first dabblings in the dark arts of astrophotography :)

Thanks all, its better now i dont have to hug the ground to polar align as i have  fitted Polemaster and you can do it on a laptop!
