The BAA meeting on November 27th at the Geological Society, Burlington House, is an all day meeting, being held jointly with the Royal Meteorological Society.  It covers the field of Meteorological and Astronomical Phenomena, incorporates the George Alcock Memorial Lecture and has a host of eminent speakers.  Full details of the lecture programme and abstracts of the talks are at http://www.britastro.org/news/items/meeting271104.pdf with an outline and background information at http://www.britastro.org/news/items/2004013.html Doors open for coffee and registration at 10:30.  As a joint meeting we are asking people to register in advance if possible and Nick James has made up an easy on line registration form at http://www.britastro.com/cgi-local/register for Members to do so.
