IC1396 - First light with the QHY8L

First proper attempt using the QHY8L so still trying to work out its limitations as I'm more familiar with using a mono camera.
There isn't too many examples of this target with my set-up so I'm not sure how good a result to expect. I'm not too happy with the way the dark areas have come out and the image is fairly flat, there wasn't many edges to bring details out and I'm not sure there is good enough data to do more with this. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Guiding: OAG Lodestar
Capture SW: EZCAP
Guiding SW: PHDGuding2
Post processing: AstroArt5, PS CS5,

18 x 600s, Darks,Bias & Flats applied.
