Canon 350D Spectrometer fun

More fun with a spectrometer :)
The black line is the total response of "white cloud".  Then you can see the response curves of the individual Red, Green and Blue  pixels:



Plus there are lots of dips for the various Fraunhofer lines ...

Lots of absorption lines for all the crap in the atmosphere too :(

Methane, carbon monoxide, you name it and it's probably superimposed on there somewhere !

Fraunhofer A - the Oxygen line at 760nm is quite pronounced.  It seems to indicate oxygen must exist somewhere ;)

Interesting that the pixels have almost identical response in the IR beyond 800nm.
