OK, had my first go with this last night. First difficulty was with polar alignment, most of the stars alignmaster uses are in the North and nicely obscured by my house. It gives you a list of best and worst pairs to use and I could only use the worst pair on the list. Anyway did the alignment, switched TDM on and started imaging. Results below.

Meade 127 Refracter
QSI 583 + LPR filter
No guiding
10 x 180 secs
Crap sky
Processed in maxim



There's some smearing, I reckon with a better alignment that would have gone. Anyway miles better than without TDM.

Looking very good for first light Jim. Unguided 3 mins very good. I don't suppose you did before & after PE measurement graphs....?
