Partial lunar eclipse

See what you mean about this observing lark.  Enjoyed a nice walk to a good vantage point in the winter sunshine under clear skies, but the cloud came in to spoil the party.  Fabulous sunset though in the opposite direction so not a completely lost cause  - but didn't have my camera kit with me so another lesson learned.

Time to head home.

My Aussie sister reports that they had beautiful views of the eclipse right up to totality.

Edit: ...but a friend over Adelaide way complained that it was cloudy...
