You git, I nearly dropped my beer (coffee actually), I was expecting your name to be in there 

They are all good pictures but I don't really consider trees and the milky way or a sunset with lens flare to be bona fide astronomical images.

Nice images but not worthy of winning. There were far better images submitted. They look like they were judged by photographers and not astrophotographers.

Winners in October SKy at Night magazine, i thought they were fantastic

Sorry Fay, I've just been up to RGO and saw the presented images and I definitely agree with Mike.  There was something lacking in this years winners, apart from one or two I was very dissapointed.

well the deep sky one's looked really nice, not sure about M51. The Horsehead/M42 was fantastic, I thought
