The following list is the result of a recent survey of the 10 places in the UK where you are most likely to spot a UFO. (http://www.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,31500-13051531,00.html).
I can't help but think that theoretically astronomers should be the one group of people that would be more likely to spot a UFO than any other seeming as they spend every clear evening they can watching the skies. However it would appear that the group in first place on this list appears to be the residents of a small Scottish town which I'm assuming may be very close to a whiskey distillery?

Funny how both Bexleyheath and Lewisham appear in this list! The little green men must realise that us lot are always on the lookout so steer clear of Bromley!
