12" Dob Update

Hi all,
just to make everyone aware that the Dob base has been collected from Telescope House with a new base and so everything is up and running again.
I was told that we have to put a sheet down as to not put the Dob directly onto grass (which it hasn't been since i've had it, as the top section of garden is decking) and it should be OK, no doubt next it will be ' don't take it out in the dark or point it at small bright objects'.
Anyway if any member of the society is interested in using the Dob over a period of time, do not hesitate to contact me.
